Ballroom dancing is a great form of physical and mental exercise and an interesting way to meet people.
At Duntocher Village Hall, New Street, Duntocher, Clydebank, G81 6DF, we teach the Slow Waltz, the Quickstep, the Ballroom Tango, the Slow Foxtrot and the Viennese Waltz.
The new beginners class starts on Monday 17th March 2014 at 7pm and continues at the same time every week thereafter. Entry is free on this night only.
Adult ballroom classes from 17th March 2014:
The entry fee is £5 per person per night or £9 for two people. Note that this is for entry rather than per hour or per class.
You don't have to enrol and you don't have to let us know that you're coming, just turn up and “pay as you go”. We don't supply partners, sorry, but you may come on your own.
The classes are progressive, so you will struggle if you don't come regularly.
We reserve the right to refuse entry.
You must not wear shoes that could damage or mark a wooden floor. Some of the figures require you to turn on the ball of the foot, so rubber-soled shoes are unsuitable. For your own safety, open-toed shoes and shoes that could come off when you lift your heel are not recommended.
No recording of images, video or sound is permitted.
If a night has to be cancelled for any reason, it will be announced on twitter account @dancing_steps . It will also be announced at the previous week's class where possible.
If you have any questions, feel free to drop an email to Stephen J. Muir A.S.D.T.A. Ballroom firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07847 011862.
