Dancing Steps

We have been teaching at Duntocher Village Hall, New Street, Duntocher, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, G81 6DF since 2013 and we teach all Ballroom and Latin American dances.

The classes are held every Monday, including bank holidays. The hall is closed during most of July and over the Christmas period so we can not hold classes then.

The beginners class is from 7pm to 8pm, the improvers class from 8pm to 9pm and the advanced class from 9pm to 10pm. The new season of the beginners class started on 4th February 2019. Don't worry if you missed the opening night, we are still accepting newcomers and we'll help you to catch up.

The per-night entry fee is £8 per person. We do not make you pay for each class and we do not make you pay in advance.

Private lessons are available on request.

We only use teachers qualified in both Ballroom and Latin American.

We don't supply partners, sorry, but you may come on your own.

We reserve the right to refuse entry.

You must not wear shoes that could damage or mark a wooden floor. Some of the steps require you to turn on the ball of the foot, so rubber-soled shoes are unsuitable. Suede soles are recommended to give the best balance between grip and slip.

No recording of images, video or sound is permitted.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop an email to Stephen Muir MSDTA (Ballroom, Latin, Viennese Waltz), IDTA (LB, LL), MBATD (Ballroom, Latin), GPTD, sjmuir@dancing-steps.co.uk or phone 07847 011862.
